Can my services be covered by my insurance?
There are several insurance companies that have begun paying for Doula services. I encourage my clients to call their insurance company to see if they participate. Once you find out if they do, confirm if they cover partial or all expenses. I have details on specific steps to take regarding this so feel free to reach out to discuss further.
Can I use my Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) to cover my Doula services?
Good News! Yes, HSA and FSA may cover your Doula services. Because everyones' insurance works a little different, be sure to call your insurance company directly to get specific details. We are more than willing to provide any documents needed.
Does having a Doula replace my spouse, birth partner or support person?
Absolutely not! We are all there to work as a team to best support you as the Birth person. A little tip is that we are there for the spouse/birth partner/support person too.
Can Essentially Yours Doula Services provide me with referrals?
Of course! We have a list of birth professionals to include counselors, photographers, prenatal yoga classes, massage therapists, chiropractors, pediatricians and more.

Essentially Yours Doula Services serves the Greater Charlotte and surrounding areas including but not limited to Cornelius, Huntersville, Concord, Harrisburg, Mint Hill, Indian Trail, Monroe, Waxhaw, Pineville and Mt. Holly. We also serve various areas in South Carolina, not limited to Indian Land, Fort Mill and Rock Hill.
